A synbiotic combines both prebiotic and probiotic into one capsule: It is an extremely potent probiotic with 10 strains, delivering 20 billion CFUs per vegicap, with added FOS, a prebiotic to help to promote the implantation of the probiotic flora.
PRO-biotics are healthy bacteria which live in your digestive tract and PRE-biotics are the foods that these healthy bacteria eat. Together a prebiotic and a probiotic supplement together is called a SYNBIOTIC.
This synbiotic contains 10 strains of important healthy bacteria, with 20-billion colony forming units per dose (CFUs) – CFUs are a unit measure of the number of viable organisms present – 20 billion is a very healthy, high-dose supplement to protecting your immune system.
